In October 27-30, 2009 in Moscow the 13th International Exhibition of Means for Provision of State Security “INTERPOLITEX” was held according to the Decree of the Russian Federation Government. The exhibition is organized by the Russian Federation Ministry of the Interior and Federal Service for Military and Technical Cooperation. Exhibition. The official  operator of the event is JSC “ECG ”BIZON”.

Minister of the Interior of Russia Rashid Nurgaliev, Minister of Emergency Control (EMERCOM), Sergey Shoigu and other officials took part in the ceremony of Exhibition Inauguration. The President of Russia Dmitriy Medvedev sent a complimentary telegram to participants and guests of the exhibition where he emphasized the importance of such events, and also congratulated participants with the Opening of the Exhibition of Means for Provision of State Security.

After the official ceremony the Ministers looked round the exposition and examined the production of domestic and foreign producers of police technology and means of safety.
Interpolitex Exhibition included a number of the specialized exhibitions and expositions:
* International Exhibition of Police and Military Equipment “Interpolitex”,
* Salon of Special Transport,
* Specialized Exposition “Forensic Medicine and Criminalistics”
* Specialized International Exhibition of Technical Facilities for Border Service GRANITSA.

A close attention of Interpolitex 2009 visitors was given to Security Russia exhibition, which presented a thematic exposition of companies – headliners in the field of security within the Interpolitex 2009. For the first time Security Russia opened its doors to professionals, businesses, international investors and security experts.

Whereas the INTERPOLITEX concentrated on the presentation of technologies and equipment guaranteeing state and homeland security, the SECURITY RUSSIA - similar to the SECURITY ESSEN - dealt with all aspects of civil security. Due to this successful combination the visitors and exhibitors of the event could see the wider range of the products and services in the area.

The total area of exhibition was more than 16 thousand square meters. The total quantity of participants comprised more than 300 companies of 30 RF regions, and 11 countries: Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Canada, United Arab Emirates, Taiwan, Ukraine.

Military Attaches, Representatives of Embassies in RF and specialists in the field of security of 54 countries have visited the exhibition.  Among them are Abkhazia, Armenia, Bangladesh, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Hungary, Venezuela, Germany, Greece, Denmark, Zimbabwe, Israel, India, Iran, Italy, Yemen, Kazakhstan, Colombia, Congo, Kyrgyzia, China, Korea, Libya, Malaysia, Moldova, Mongolia, Namibia, Norway, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Syria, Slovenia, USA, Sudan, Tadzhikistan, Thailand, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Philippines, Finland, France, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Sweden, South Osetia, Uganda, Japan and others.
    
Total number of visitors is more than 16 000 professionals.

Traditionally within the framework of the INTERPOLITEX 2009 the demonstrative tactical-special exercises of the special subdivisions of police of Moscow region together with the presentation of special and armored vehicles took place.
The Minister of Interior of the Russian Federation Rashid Nyrgaliev, Deputy Minister of Interior, A.M.Smirny, the Heads of Departments and services of the Ministry, Representatives of other ministries and state bodies of Russian Federation, as well as the representatives of foreign countries and mass media.

The organizers of the exhibition “Interpolitex-2009” made a special accent on the business program, which included more than 30 events: conferences, seminars, round table talks and other events with more than 3000 participants of the business program.

INTERPOLITEX 2009 was widely reported in mass media. Main central all-Russia TV channels, radio stations and leading printed and electronic specialized media gave their reports on the exhibition. Foreign mass media were also accredited to report on the event, namely, Islamic Republic of Iran state TV channel, TV Asahi (Japan), Phoenix TV (China), REUTERS news agency, Associated Press, France-Presse, Polaris and others. Total number of accredited mass media is 174.

The next International Exhibition of Means for Provision of State Security “INTERPOLITEX” will be held in October 26 – 29, 2010 on V.V.C exhibition center in the newly built pavilion 75 “Rossia”.
