21ST INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OF MEANS OF STATE SECURITY PROVISION “INTERPOLITEX 2017”
1500 technological novelties and up-to-date products, 20 000 professionals in the field of security, 60 foreign official delegations, 160 reports of the security experts, master classes on self-defense and hand-to-hand fighting, which were given by professionals from the special forces units of law enforcement bodies, driving lessons from traffic police officers, seminars on cybersecurity, election of the national superhero –here are the general info on 21st International Exhibition of Means of State Security Provision “Interpolitex 2017” held in Moscow from 17 to 20 October 2017.
21st International Exhibition of Means of State Security Provision “Interpolitex 2017” were held in Moscow in the territory of the All-Russian Exhibition Centre VDNH Pavilion 75 from 17 to 20 October 2017.
The Exhibition was organized by the Russian Federation Ministry of Internal Affairs, Federal Security Service of Russia and Federal National Guard Troops Service (Rosgvardia). Official Exhibition operator is Exhibition Companies Group «BIZON».
“Today, the effective solution of the great many tasks permitting ensurance of law and order requires use of the advanced methods and equipment of the law enforcement agencies with modern technical means. This is facilitated by the of Interpolitex exhibition, which allows to demonstrate the latest achievements of departmental science, to get acquainted with the developments of colleagues from other law enforcement agencies.” - marked Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Mr. Vladimir Kolokoltsev during the inauguration of the event.
For example, for the first time at such a large-scale event were presented: a unique armored vehicle "Esaul", which is used to transport personnel in places of increased danger, an innovative electric shock shield, submachine guns capable of shooting both on land and under water, robots that can at a distance clear various explosive devices, bracelets "Sagittarius-Sentry", capable of working at a temperature of -50 degrees, a line of special cars "Profi" for transportation of prisoners, innovative optical sights, exclusive sets of souvenir weapons and many other novelties.
470 exhibiting companies-manufactures of special technical equipment including 59 companies from 14 foreign countries (Belarus, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Israel, China, Latvia, United Arab Emirates, Poland, Korea, France, Czech Republic, USA, South Africa, Japan) presented more than 1500 technological innovative products on more than 24.000 sq. m. of the exhibition space.
Among the exhibitors one can meet such big and well known companies as: Automotive Plant “Ural”, “Arsenal Group”, Moscow State Technical University after N. The exhibition site was divided into four thematic blocks: “Police Systems and Equipment”, “Rosgvardia” (Federal Service of National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation), “Border” and “Capabilities of Industrial Sector of Penal Enforcement System “.
“Police Systems and Equipment”
Mr. Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation:
“This year the main exposition of the exhibition is devoted to innovative technologies and covers a wide range of individual and collective security tools.
The exhibition presented the latest communication and information security systems, systems and equipment for operational-investigative and operational-technical activities, road traffic safety, forensic technology, search and inspection equipment and much more.

At the exhibition site one could see new types of special transport, aviation and naval security systems and equipment, means of radiation, chemical and biological protection, modern small fire arms and ammunition, robotic complexes and much more.

At the exhibition site one can see various technical systems and equipment for border protection (radar, alarm, warning, protective, optical and optoelectronic systems), naval coastal guard systems, border control and customs control systems, new types of weapons and personal armor protection, aerospace surveillance systems, track, automotive vehicles and much more.

Mr. Gennady Kornienko, Director of the Federal Service for the Execution of Sentences:
“This year for the first time in the history of the Russian Federation penitentiary system, the exposition of the Federal Penitentiary Service will take about 3500 square meters of the exhibition space, where 75 territorial units of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia will show their serially manufactured products, as well as new developments in the field of manufacture of special automotive equipment.”
At the exhibition site one can see various products manufactured in the corrections facilities, up-to-date armaments, automotive armored and special purpose vehicles, electronic systems for regime control and monitoring, perimeter protection systems and other latest developments.
Exhibition Business Program
More than 60 thematic events where were presented around 160 reports on the most acute topics in the field of security, was held within the framework of the Interpolitex exhibition.
Among the key events of the business program one can name Research-to-Practice Conference "Prospects of Developing of New Armaments and Special Equipment of New Generation” (organized by the Russian Federation Ministry of the Interior); Research-to-Practice Conference “Technical Systems and Means for Ensuring of Integrated Security of Objects and Territories of the Country: Problems and Prospects of Development”" (organized by Rosgvardia); conference “Priority Directions of Technical Equipment of the State Border at the Present Stage” (organized by the Border Service of the Russian Federal Security Service); Research to Practice Conference: “Industrial Sector of the Federal Penitentiary Service. Interaction and Cooperation with Government and Commercial Organizations” (organizer: Federal Penitentiary Service of the Russian Federation).
Also on the Interpolitex site was held the 3rd Forum of Non-Governmental Security Structures (NGSS) "Safe Capital", within the framework of which were discussed new formats and successful practices of cooperation and interaction between NGSS and Federal and municipal authorities.

And we are actively developing a system of public control in particular, the Moscow-based legal enforcement public organization "Safe Capital", headed by the Chairman of the Moscow City Duma Commission on Security Mrs. Inna Svyatenko in cooperation with law enforcement agencies regularly holds various public inspections in order to identify unscrupulous shops and illegal gambling establishments”, noted the Chairman of the Trade Union of the Non-Governmental Security Structures, Mr. Dmitry Galochkin
According to him, during the three years of the organization's existence, activists together with law enforcement officers conducted more than 3,500 public raids, which resulted in the closure of several hundred points selling illegal products.
One of the new formats of the business program have become seminars of specialists in information security, where they spoke about the main types of cybercrime and how they should be confronted.
Vote for the Country's Superhero 2017
For the first time at the exhibition were announced the results of the first open popular vote for the country's most important superhero, which was launched on the eve of the event on social networks.
According to the results of open public Internet voting Danila Bagrov (the main character of the films "Brother", "Brother-2") was named the national superhero number one.
“We have decided to find out who is causing our citizens the greatest liking, respect and sense of security. Heroes, whom we, together with the Internet audience, selected for vote - not real people, but national characters, collective images, mythical, literary, movie or various programs characters. In our opinion, the experiment turned out to be curious, "said Mr. Nikolay Marichev, the initiator of the project, a member of the Organizing Committee of the Interpolitex exhibition.
During all days of the Interpolitex exhibition for all comers at the sites in front of the Exhibition Pavilion (No.75) were held special demonstration exercises of the special forces units of the Russian Ministry of the Interior, Russian National Guard Troops, Performance Driving Group “Kaskad” of the Directorate of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of Moscow Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and canine service.
Besides specialists organized for the guests various master-classes on self-defense, practical medicine, methods of teaching behavior in emergency situations, shooting including (bow and crossbow shooting)
The demonstration program was visited by more than 2500 spectators.
The final of the last day of the "Interpolitech-2017" exhibition was the awarding ceremony of the winners of the "National Security" contest.
In the nomination "Means of Ensuring National Security", 37 enterprises and organizations were awarded with the medal of the competition and corresponding Diplomas.
